What filters do I need?

The type of filters you require depends on your household’s water supply. This information is located on the inside of the panel of the drinking water system (K5 models only), or on your maintenance sticker provided by our service team. Why is water leaking from the hole on my faucet?

You have an air-gap faucet that was installed due to the specific plumbing codes in your area. When water starts seeping out of the hole, the drain line is plugged. Don’t worry, this isn’t a malfunction. The faucet is functioning normally, and the drain line must be cleared to stop the leak.

What’s the noise I hear from my drinking water system?

A drinking water system can make noise when it’s producing water and refilling the storage tank. In some cases, the tubing under the sink may be long to allow for servicing the unit, and it can tap against a pipe or wall as water flows. Securing the line can often reduce or stop the noise. If the sound seems unusual or you’re concerned, contact our team to check the system and ensure everything is working as it should.

Why is my drinking water faucet making noise?

If your faucet has an air gap, the sound you hear is completely normal. Air-gap faucets are required by plumbing codes in many areas, and the noise is simply part of how they operate. Another common cause happens when your drinking water system is installed under the sink. If you hear a gurgling sound, it’s usually the system discharging rejected water down the drain while it’s producing purified water. This noise should only occur right after you use the system and will stop once the storage tank is refilled.

What should I expect right after my reverse osmosis is installed?

After a new reverse osmosis (RO) system is installed, it’s recommended to empty the first full tank of water. About 2–3 hours after installation, open the RO faucet and run it at a trickle until the tank is empty. Within another 3 hours, you’ll have a fresh full tank to enjoy. If you notice any sediment in the water, flush the tank again. This harmless residue can occur while new filters are fully saturating.
